Friends.
With them I never walk alone.
Without them, I'm still strong.
But you guys are what makes me strong in the first place.
You guys are the reason I'm happy in school.
I'm sorry to have let some of you guys down in the past.
But from now onwards, I'm prepared to make up for those things.
Because someone said before, "even the strongest man needs friends".
Apart from my mother and my sis, my life is only complete with friends.
Now below is my analysis of you guys.
Gabriel
You are strong. We know. You are smart. That we know.
You are a fun-loving guy. It's a recognised fact.
Although you may not seem that close to me, and neither does it work the other way round, do you know what my life in 4V will be like without you?
School has been a joke for everyone of us. But it is you who gives me the energy, the courage to be in school everyday. And to find some joy in school life. Now tell me who in 4V is as fun-loving as you? You may not seem significant, but you know, you can be someone great, 'cause I see the potential in you. You can do what you want, if you really set your mind to doing it.
In school you may always appear to be the slacker-type, the always 'provoking-people' type, the one who always generate rumours, the one who create troubles for teachers.
But what the teachers do not know is that, in you, there is a unique personality who never fails to cheer people up. =) You believe in what you trust in, because you only trust yourself. And that's what makes you unique.
Whatever the occassion, you'll always be part of the team. You never give up, always giving your best, even if you are given the dirties job to be done. And your effort have not gone unnoticed. If there's one person I'd say is the most creditable un-sung hero, it is you.
And the fact is,
You are the hero to many of us in school already.
..To be continued..

I'm Tired..
I never believed in trusting anyone else.. Or anything else until you appeared.
She had the life I once had. I had the life she once had.
But I never knew, or imagined things to turn out this way.
She used to tell me all the things to cheer me up.
I used to tell her all the things to cheer her up.
One day, she got happier. She's happier now I think.
And I believed in promises.
I made so many promises. So did she.
Now that she's gone, she's probably forgotten the promises she's made.
We can't even maintain our friendship anymore.
You told me to be your guide if you ever go Taiwan.
You told me to come back to see you if I ever leave Singapore.
You told me to reserve a song for you if I ever make it in music.
You told me that I was the only one you could trust and confide in.
Then you asked me what was it that I couldn't word it out. I just couldn't.
I knew things will happen, I knew things would change.
I knew history would repeat. I knew this was a risk.
But this was gonna be my only chance.
So for once I decided to trust in you.
You told me things would not change.
But feelings will fade.
You make it seem so simple.
But you don't know what you've just said.
And words, so real, but you can't keep them real.
You can't forgive me. And neither can I forgive myself.
No one is ever gonna believe what has happened.
And anyone who ever comes across this webpage would probably think that I'm merely repeating the the setting, the characters, the storyline in a TV drama.
But when it really happens on yourself, you can't handle the pressure.
I need something fresher, but the messages in my handphone..
It reminds me. That maybe things aren't so bad.
Once bitten, twice shy.
But what if you're bitten twice?
You know what?
You can't keep your promises.
But I'm still gonna keep mine..
Even if you don't like it, the truth is
You're the reason I'm enduring sleepless nights.
And in the darkest and lonly-niest nights. You remind me of
Our common item
The importance to sleep early
And that
You're happier now.
I'm glad that you've just found someone. 'cause he's gonna keep my treasure safer than me.
Now I'm tired of everything. But I'm pleased that I'm finally granted the permission to rest, since I don't have to worry about my treasure anymore.
I'll always wait for you, but in the meantime,
you must be strong. Stay happy. Forever. Always and always.
And I miss you.

Sports Meet & TMS 1st Round: The Aftermath
Hahaz.. Thx Kat.
Btw, yesterday at the Sports Meet, I bought a drink and asked Shaikha to help me pass it to her (thanks Shaikha)!
Even though I didn't give her the drink personally, my heart paced and raced like it was gonna pop out anytime. Lol! But really! Hahaz.. I feel as if I've accomplished something that I have been waiting for a long time, although personally I don't think she appreciated it. She just doesn't seem to be. Haiz. Whatever. I don't give a damn. I just know that at least I tried to give her something. Whether or not that is nugatory does not concern me.
Anyways congratulations to all the winners yesterday. =) It was indeed some spectacular perfomance that y'all put up. All the winners truly deserved what they got for what they gave. Congrats, especially to Mary Anne and Shawn =)
Herms. With regards to our win over 3V, I must make one thing very clear. We didn't deserve to win them by such a great margin. Besides, I wasn't too happy with my overall performance of the game. I was left frustrated at myself afterwards. To me, it was my suckiest performance, no exaggeration! And I don't think our team has the quality to go on to win the cup, although I would gladly like to. It's not that I'm not ambitious, or that I have no faith in my class, but I'm merely being practical. At the rate we're going, there's no way we can get through to the later stages, especially if we continue to play the style we're adopting. Nevertheless, I'll still give my best for 4V's upcoming matches, and hope for the best.
Btw, anyone can help me out with my blogskin? I've got some problems that I've got difficulty in tackling:
1) I'm too lazy to change.
2) My com is so lag, that it crashes everytime I enter www.blogskins.com. Don't ask me why. I'm a computer idiot.
Oh. And to anyone who happens to come across this blog entry. 1 nice song to recommend.

Thanks, Mary Anne =)
Another weekend, finally having the time to write.
Today's Liverpool's clash with Bolton, I hope they can overcome them quite easily, especially with Gerrard back. My prediction, Liverpool to win 2-0. Hopefully.
Anyways, this week's been quite a hefty one I must say. Quite a lot of things to do. The Chinese test on Friday was like. Damn! So long! I was falling asleep and decided to give slip-shot answers and just get on with it. The test even stretched to 1015, that's the one whole period of Maths gone! But who really gives a damn. Don't we all enjoy our Fridays? Including the fact that there's no more Chinese Writing Lessons.
One thing though, there was the speech day rehearsal. If not I would have been playing soccer with the rest of the guys. But I was relatively happy with my soccer performance today during PE. I scored a wonderful goal from half-field! Haha.. No glory though, cause there was no one in front of the goal. Shawn Wee went up for the corner, I got to the ball, and just gave it a shot from inside our team's own half! My new record, but really it was rather comical and fortunate that the ball went in. I hope my form can continue for tmr's TMS Cup match against 3V, although I wouldn't be pleased if the team is gonna be playing the way it is on Monday. But I'll probably try to keep my chill and not walk off the manner I did on Friday =X I was to some extent, frustrated at the minumum amount of my involvement in our team's play.
Hmms. But I wouldn't really say that the speech day rehearsal was a waste of time. The performance put up by the performers was magnificent, and I got to catch a glimpse of her while CO was performing! Haha.. It kinda brightens up my day every single time I see her, but I just cannot unwrong myself for the fact that she already likes someone else, constantly haunts me. I don't know whether or not to make a first step, or just let this moment slip. If someone could just guide me in the love race, it would be much easier, but reliance, to me, is a sin. This walk belongs to me. I gotta walk it myself I guess. All that I can hope for is for me to finally clear things up in my mind, and pick up the courage I need badly to create my own chance. After all, Mary Anne did reminded me that 'chances are what you give yourself, not what is given to you'.
Sometimes, when I really lose my chill and start ostracising myself, there's always someone there to give me a 'hand', and bring me back from the dead. And more often than never, it's always Mary Anne. I don't know how to express my utmost gratitude to you, but here I am to tell how much your words of wisdom means to me. Now, I feel that I've learnt not to be so dumb as I was back in those stupid lower secondary days to, you know, make a mess out of my own life and make myself so despiteful in front of everybody. But I'm still learning to be have what it takes to be the king of my own, 'cause this world is mine for the taking.

The Fear To Lose
The fear to lose.. Is it really that scary? Yet, it is undoubtedly true that no one in this world likes the feeling of losing.. But still, does it mean finding weaker opponents to play against and win? No disrespect to 4S, but my point here is that, why are people so coward? Yes, our chances of winnin will no doubt be greater, but does it give you the sense of satisfaction when you win? I'm afraid, it is not so to me. We can brag about our wins, but are they really such big deals? Does it mean we're good? No, we're DECEIVING OURSELVES because we are playing against teams about the same standard as us. If (some people) think that they are good, then prove it. I personally feel that injuries or whatsoever are just excuses.. This is rigmarole man..
Whatever la.. I'm sick of finishin this.. And I don't wanna waste any more of my time talking to people who aint got half the lousy skill that I've got and wanna challenge me.. I don't mind criticism, but please look at yourself before you comment. Oh Please.
Now I'm just waiting how our team cope with the lack of quality in our side, especially when we rely so much on our key players who will not be present tomorrow. Wishing for a positive note for our start to the TMS Cup 'Campaign'. Let's just wish for a 100% victory for our friendlies by winning over 4S tomorrow..

Aftermath Reflection
I was totally stressed out yesterday after the match.. Reached home at about 7.30pm, ate dinner, did a little homework, then fell asleep on the study table! Lol.. Lucky there weren't much homework yesterday.
Yea. Glad that we won 4V won 4R 3 - 1, although the first half was really some horrible display from our team.. We did start to pass a little more in the second half, which led to some positive moves, but really some chemistry would help. I just cannot link well with Guo Hao! Kept mispassing, and I really feel very guilty for most of the possession lost.
Besides, I feel my level of fitness did drop a lot. Ok, I know I did deteriorate a lot ever since my injury, but this really sums up what I have to say about myself. Pace was slow, stamina was weak, ball control totally sucks.. The only positive is that my heading's still here, although I felt I was rather unlucky not to score from the free-header from the perfectly delivered corner by Guo Hao.. Seriously, I do feel that his soccer has improved a lot since the first time he played soccer with us. If he continues to improve, I'm sure our chances of playing further into TMS Cup will be higher. Elimination is something all of us try to make sure we avoid, but I still feel it's inevitable, given the quality that 5A beholds. Nevertheless, still a good game which showed some teamwork..
*You played very well, Mary Anne! And Kang Yu too! Ran so much.. We would have conceded more than one goal if not for the two of y'all.. Honestly.
Finally, I really feel sorry about what happened to Yu Ren. I didn't have any intent to injure anyone, and I don't think I did anything.. But I just feel so sorry for him.. I hope he gets well soon so that this minor injury doesn't affect him in one way or another.
Overall, I love the feeling of the match, and although I feel fresher after a friendly match, I'm still working on my fitness.. It's now like a race agaisnt time for me.. I need to be at my optimum level when playing.. SOCCER in my viens. I'm gonna give the best shot I've got.

And also, the last goal was rather comical. I was through on goal, ready to slot the ball in anytime. Yet, I wanted to make sure that the angle was just nice for me, so I pushed the ball forward. The keeper almost got to the ball, but fortunately I made it in time to slide it away from him to slot the ball home. Well, almost home, coz' Kang Yu made the last touch. But who cares who scored the goal anyway? A GOAL IS A GOAL.

Diary - Blog
Has. Next week's the match 4V - 4R, can't wait to get my feet on the soccer ball. This match's gonna be mine. Kang Yu doesn't mind giving me the captaincy of the team, he told me himself. But should I assume the role? I mean. I do think that I should lead the team, but at the same time, I feel that I lack the qualities to lead. Will I know what to do, what instructions to give before and during the match? Or will the team even listen.
I know, some people laugh at things such as assuming the role of captain. However, soccer is in my veins, I breathe soccer. I don't like the feeling of being on the losing side, no one likes to lose. You can say, 'give it another shot' or 'next time'. But somethings just cannot wait for a 'next'. Everytime I get onto the pitch, I give my best shot, although sometimes my best isn't up to standard. Herm. The worst, our team hasn't even practiced a single match! I strongly believe that our coordination will be worse than that of 4V when they played against 5A. They still had some form of coordination, but it was sorta distorted by the brilliance of 5A. Gabriel jokes that we should have a practice match with 5A, but i certainly don't want to lower our morale, for the consequence is obvious.
Yea. Anyway, just to leave a response to Jie Pin's comments. If a diary is meant for you to write your deepest secrets in it, and you're not suppose to unveil your secrets, what's the point of having a blog? You get it? This blog's not meant for y'all to understand me. It's my own record of my past thinking, and have a good laugh about it in the future when I read about it. Lame I know. But I'm glad at least people read about what I have to say about things circling my life.
But siltl, I dbuot y'all udnrenatsd.

"The Rain On My Face"
Hehs. Here I am again. This time, with some more thoughts up my brain.
Well, Scriptured Arrival's finally completed, but I can't say I'm really happy with it. I would really wanna make another one! But really, all these time constraints just aint helpin'. I've been trying to write some shit.. But for some reason, nothing seems to come out from my mind. They say 'speak your mind', and how am i supposed to do that when i don't have anything up my mind.
Anyways, I really miss Aidan. He's really a nice guy, and I really miss him. I have repeatedly told everyone not to speak of the past, but it seems now that I'm my the victim of my own words. I'm really envious that he's got out of this f***ing pathetic place.
Hahaz.. Yea. After listening to 'The Rain On My Face", it really touches my heart.. Really empathises with what's inside my heart. Pain and anguish. They're filling my viens. Really. I miss her, and to think that she likes someone else, really makes me feel like a loser. Perhaps I am one, because if not, how could i possibly like you when I'm not even good enough for you? Back in a couple of years. If only I had known her. Shit. It's all too late. I'm wishin she'll come across this blog, but M, i feel I've lost the love race. That's why I'm not pursuing this losing battle. Not ANYMORE.
And Jvt too. You should have known. I haven't thought of a possibility of it anymore, coz I'm a BIG FAT LOSER. If i wasn't, then why would i say i am? Over the past few days at the SLC, I've tried to catch glimpses of you. Maybe that kinda feelin no longer exists, but well. Yea. I still remember the SMS thou. Believe it or not.
Hmm.. Finally. My teeth's still freakin pain. I heard from a lot of people with braces saying that it takes at least 1 week to be okay. But the worse, is that this feeling will happen once every month, after the dentist tightens the braces. F*** it. Haha. But i hope time continues to fly as fast as it is, and so it'll be out in no time.
Last of all,
for those who even bother to visit this blog,
wishing y'all all the best for your future endeavours.
And special thanks to Aidan, for making this world a completely different one for mine.
I really miss you, and I believe everyone too.

I really miss you, and I believe everyone too.

It's the end of another weekend.. Time really flies. Still, I havent change my blogskin. The internet just crashes everytime i enter www.blogskins.com. I don't know what's wrong with my com. Or is it with the website? Unlikely. Anyway, some questions have been runnin' through my minds of late.
Firstly, I cannot understand why everyone is acting as if this year is so different from the rest? Yes, it's the O' Levels this year.. But why can't people treat this year the same as we did for the previous years - fantastic years - we had in Temasek? Ok, apart from studying harder this year, and the fact that Aidan has left us - which cannot be changed. Aidan was the spark who lit up the darkest days of our lives. Yes, he bonded us together, but he no longer is here today. And why are we still living in the past? And why can't we possess some of the qualities he left behind? Gone is the man, but his qualities have become part and parcel of the collective memories in our minds. We just gotta replicate what he has left behind, and make this whole world a nicer place to live in. People keep complaining about 'boring lives'.. So my question here is: "What have we done to make all these better for ourselves"? I hope anyone who comes across my blog can think and reflect about this. Everyone can start with being more generous with the word 'Hi', and not pretend not to know each other.
Was chatting with Aidan yesterday on MSN. He sounds as if he's enjoying himself in New Zealand now. I really hope he is. Someone like him really deserves a lot more than he is having now.
Been reading some nice books these few days too. But still havent got the time to read Mary-Anne's "The Alchemist" (Sorry Mary-Anne! I'll read finish and return to you asap!) Herm. Would like to introduce a book I find really worth reading, even though you guys may not like Chinese.
1) 慢活 (Chinese version, available in 17 other languages.. Lol..)
- Original is in English, entitled 'Slow', by Carl Hanore. It's about living in our world where everything that matters now is SPEED. The contents of this book can really make any reader smarter intellectually.
In the meantime, I hope everything will be alright for everyone else. *Peace-

The price to pay
Havent been posting anything these few days.. Been kinda busy with tests. And more tests. Yup
Anyway. I've just got my tooth extracted yesterday. And no, it doesn't hurt, but it's the seperators in between my teeth that's causing all the pain. Can't really bite on anything, let alone chew on anything. Maybe it's just the price to pay to get my teeth straight. My Dad's been nagging about wasting perfectly normal teeth for the sake of beauty. 'Beauty', i suppose. Well, not now at least, but I'm sure it will be in the future. But my biggest achievement for today: bargaining with the dentist to lower the price for making braces, and successfully. But i suppose something else worries me: The whole process will take approximately 23 months. I hope it will be exactly 23 months, or even better, less than that.
Well, anyway, it just appear to me that there's a price to pay for everything else. But I hope I'm not paying over the odds. Cause the feeling's really not nice.

Mis-Matched
A day of mixed emotions. I don't know how to decribe it myself, as it's been some short of pathetic day for me, probably my worst day on this god damn earth.
Fridays, my favourite day of the week. The slackin' day..
Lessons for the day: PE, Maths, Chinese (+Enrichment), English and FTCT.
How tough can the day get?
But it never gets easier than this.
PE: I could have scored this long range goal, curling with an outrageous swirl, and with great speed. All for the efforts for the goal of my life (maybe besides the goal I scored from half-field in last year), all hopes were dashed for Yu Lun's safe hands, claiming the ball and making it seem so easy. But deep inside me, I knew it never was. It was still a good game, in addition to the fact that our team was outnumbered. 11 VS 2, although in reality the numbers were equal. The only 2 players active in play throughout was probably Shawn and Andreas. I was feeling some sort of f- up, but the day just had to carry on. In a sucky fashion. (Actually it started off worse. Read on to find out why)
Maths: Mr Toh was absent today; he had to attend some course. Nevertheless, it was wishful thinking from me to think he would let 4V off so easily. Unpredictable as he always is, he gave us a quiz on Frequency Distribution, without prior notice (or at least I didn't know about it)!
But the thing about today's Maths lesson was about me helping a classmate in his quiz. I know this kinda thing is so-called branded 'illegal' in tests, but who gives a damn? Definitely not so was our relief teacher Mr Tan. Although I myself isn't that mathematically inclined, I thought I've assisted him as much as I have liked to. After listening to KC Tan's comments about this guy, I am all the more determined to make a difference to the many lives around me, and to introduce colour spectrums to this world that is, ironically, 'black and white' in colour.

Dissapointment

Jubilant
( Shows I'm gradually working towards my aim that was set since I started out with this blog.)
Chinese: As usual, no comments. (What positive things could I think of to describe LMS's chinese lessons? I've just massacred some of my brain cells to answer to that).
For the 'Enrichment' after school, worse. I mean. We (and Shawn Wee and Samuel Ee) went to class late 'cause of playing soccer, and went lost count of the timing. The China teacher was, and still is I think, so damn boring and lame. She likes to pick on me to answer questions, and I'm sick of it! I just hope the 8 lessons of the Enrichment course ends asap.
English: What else can I add on. I mean. KC Tan is simply a teacher who rocks more than anyone else. We basically went through the last pair of people for the oral presentation (Siang Yong + Wai Khang ) and the uses of Sensory words in descriptive essays. And that was it.
FTCT: Nothing special. Just some jigsaw puzzle activity that was supposed to teach us to Begin with an End in mind. Worked to its purpose with little effect.
Now, about the morning incident. Unlike the other days, I decided to take the bus at Tanah Merah instead of Tampines. To my upmost surprise, the number of people taking bus 14 at the bus stop has dropped dramatically since the start of this year I think! Herm.. Anyway. I saw her at the bus stop, and waved to her, my intention to obviously catch her sight. I don't know if it was deliberate though, for she totally ingnored me, as if not to have seen me. But I was sure she saw me when we were boarding the bus, But it was some luck of mine that I didn't get onto the same bus. -*Cough*-
Let's carry on with the day after school. We were supposed to not be playing soccer, but to do something else with JM and YX. But JM was just so reluctant and not committed to it that we had to cancel the whole thing. In the end we ended up at the soccer court. And it wasn't pleasant to me at all, this I know why, but I cannot explain why people diss my physical aspect of my game. If someone really wants to be competing at the highest level, this is something that I'm afraid, he has to overcome, although I am very clear that this part of the game can be done without to enhance the beauty of the game. As I ponder over this, I'm self-reflecting, and I am determined not to commit the same mistake the next time (if there is, but I seriously doubt so).
Anyways, f it. What's been up man 24th Feb? Couldn't you have made my life better? Or even my luck? But I don't blame you. I'll be psychotic if i do. I've got noone else to blame but myself. I'm still in the stage where I'm searching for the place to pick up from. With some guidance or so, I strongly believe this can be achieved. What is wrongfully mismatched, have to, and will, be rectified, so long as I put in the effort to make some difference. Ee Yen of 25th Feb, bring the challenge on!

One of Us
Today. It's been somewhat special. I don't know. Is it. Or not. Suddenly. I get some clarity. As I enjoy doing something I really enjoy. I look around. There's this person. A loner. Maybe he knows he's lonely. But whether or not he knows the reason behind it is another thing. Maybe he does. Maybe not. No one knows. But this sudden rush fills me. Maybe 20 years down the road, I may not remember his name, even if I were to browse through my blog, and thoroughly.
However, I hope that day doesn't arrive, and it never comes across me, for any similar case. I want to make a difference. I wanna give something to the people around me, to the people around me. You can call it love. You can give it a name, the so-called Care. Whatever the noun, It won't be able to fully define, explain and describe it. 'Cause this thing, is what makes the world go around. What comes around, goes around. What is gonna happen, eventually will be so. It's all down to me. One person, one brave man. It's all that I need in my life. I'm gonna change the way things seem to be. It all starts from the heart, and it begins from here.
23rd Feb 2006, this is all I've got for you. I'm never gonna see you again. I might miss you. But i guess not. The future is an unknown. Like those who solve mysteries, like those who unveil theories, I'm looking forward to it as much as y'all do. Perhaps even more. 24th Feb 2006, I'm coming.
