And so she went...

3 morning calls ensured I woke up on time XD Thanks patricia, yu chuan, jing nan! but jing nan called me at like 8.10. I was already on my way there but she had just left her house - JURONG! Omg?

I reached there at around 8.25. Second to arrive. Upon arrival someone tapped my shoulder from the back. YU CHUAN! With his big eye-blacks that was ever-so evident. Haha. Actually I was really tired too, but for this special friend, I had to sacrifice my sleep =/

Minutes later ruizhe joined us. But he was actually there earlier than any of us. 8, as I heard from yu chuan. By this time it was already 8.30, but she had just left her house not so long ago. Rui Zhe's stomache was rumbling, so we went to Mac to grab a bite. Yu Chuan was browsing through the photo album which I rushed to get it done last night. Some of the photo quality are quite bad, but there's nothing I could do! I think it's Wan Ting's camera that's the problem. Yup.

Anyways, I reserved one special card for Yu Chuan to write something for Jing Nan. Just a pity I should have reserved one for Rui Zhe too. He was, afterall, a part of her life.

Yu Chuan was fiddling around with my faulty phone, in attempt to try to rescue it. But to no avail. I should have it repaired asap I guess =X

9.15. Everyone started to panic. Her flight's at 10.50 and she should have been here a long time ago to check in. So we called like n times, but she didn't pick up. 9.25. Finally she called. And guess what. She had already checked in and having her breakfast.. At TERMINAL 1.

Lucky all of us are patient people. We didn't mind running that extra distance and going through all the trouble for her. Haha. She should thank us ok!

And so we went.

To terminal 1 of course. By the skytrain. It's been a long time since I've taken the skytrain actually, but it really is 15283125 times slower than the MRT! lol. But lucky for us not many people were taking the skytrain. I recall the other time taking the skytrain with so many people boarding! Took us so long to get through. Ha.

At terminal 1, we met up with JingNan at the departure hall. She with her 2 best-est buddies from her secondary school. And it was kinda funny, 'cause as yu chuan said, girls always take very very very VERY long to bid farewells. Haha. They had so much things to talk about that we didn't really converse with jing nan. We managed to get a glimpse of her mum though. She looked so young! I think 30 given her looks. Honestly.

Patricia kept reminding me to give her a big hug. We'll not see each other for another 3 years I guess? And by then I'll probably be in the army! Hmm. Hope things will go fine for her.

9:58 was the time written on the clock at the airport. It was time to go in. Her mum hurried her to check in while she was so reluctant to leave. Us too. So reluctant to let her go. We'll definitely miss you, jing. For the moments we all had together, all the jokes and laughter we shared, all the fun and problem-sharing time we had. This kind of friends don't come too often. Like how you helped me get past my state of slump after I broke up, I hope you'll remember how we helped each other out. Give yourself chances. There's more things outside of singapore. Much guys, more girls. HAHA! Ok, that's besides the point, but this chance will be a very good one for you to experience and learn things from the outside world. Whilst you continue to educate and upgrade yourself, forget us not.

You were really the best girl-friend I ever had.
And nothing much else words can say.
We'll all miss you.

Been a few days since I've blogged. Yea i think i should update more regularly. But been kinda lazy lately. I rougly summarise what happened in the past couple of weeks or so.

Tuesday (12 June '07)

Went for ktv with some classmates!

Si Yi, Rachel, Li Feng, Yong Jie, Sze Jun, Alan Teo, Kelvin was there.

But none of the girls sang, except Si Yi at least knew a few songs. It was a very nice day to hang out with, just that I was shocked to see the prices at like $16 per person. Expected it to be around $11 lo. Ha. But one thing I learnt. The tidbits is free-flow! Next time should eat as much as we can since it's free! lol. But Yong Jjie warns that it's easy to get soar throat by eating those. We gave most of our share to the girls, who were responsible for helping us eat tidbits! haha. At least they didnt go for nothing ok! But kinda waste of money to just go there and sit. =X

Next time should get more people to go.

Friday (15 June '07)

Did some recording before going to Bugis to play (watch actually) people playing arcade. Someone completed the whole of the House of the Dead. Not like it's something to be excited about, but it's my first time witnessing that. Yewf explains the story behind the game. The story is kinda complicated with the story of the House of the Dead 4 followed up by the story in House of the Dead 3. Guess I shall just read up on it myself when I'm free.

*Btw, yewf was late and he made jia ming and I wait for an hour! His gf was supposed to come but didn't! Hmm. Wondering what he's up to anyway.

After that I walked him home from pasir ris mrt. Had 2 cans of jolly shandy each too. Lots of things to share! He did talk about somethings I never thought someone would say behind my back, and some lies I shoulda realise or exploited. Ha. But nvm. Let it be. To be fakin' it? I'd rather do that thing I do.

So we chit-chatted for hours at his house void deck. Ah. Cant remember about the frog incident. We heard croaking sounds echoing in the void deck. Being curious in nature, he and i decided to find out what that sound was. In the end the sound came from the recycling bin areas. After listening closely, and with a little of common sense, it must be a frog/ toad! Ah. It's just funny how a frog can land up being in the bin. How unfortunate!

So that day I reached my house at 2 instead of 10. I told my sis I'd reach home at 10, but it never was the case. By the time I came back, even my brother, who usually reaches home later than anyone else in the family, was home already. Lols. But it's been some long time since I've talked to him. Really miss ya dude. And come to think of it, I think I should go find Aaron, Yi He and Willis sometimes. Plus he added me on msn! Must show that he remembers me! How glad!

Saturday (16 June' 07)

Soccer! As usual. This time I woke up late, only for yx to be even later. In the end reached there at around 9.30 instead of 9. But who cares anyway? Everyone's always late. Lol. But this time the clouds were really all dark. Knew from the start it was gonna rain. So in the end we canceled the match. Gabriel and Mary Anne didnt come. Actually we expected it to rain heavily continuously. So we went for brunch. Then the rain stopped. How uncoincidental! But Chang Song suggested we continue playing soccer. So we played for a match or two before the rain set in again. This time for real. We hung out at the void deck near the netball court. Yx, hong shan, bryan were playing among themselves. Then louis, sam tang, thien soon, yong zhi and i were just fooling around and being childish. Playing in the rain with soccer and we came up with a stupid game which nobody obeyed the rule! haha. How childish can we get. Then discussed with sam tang about the outing with jun wei on the saturday on the first week after the common tests. Hope to see all of them soon! After that we had lunch before walking home from kw's house there. In the end kw still forgot to take his game from me. Lols.

Sunday (17 June '07)

It was father's day. But apparently nobody in the house celebrates it. And everyone knows why. It was a pretty plain sunday. The most unforgettable thing was that my dad actually mentioned about the day in front of us. Over the phone, asking his friend how he was celebrating it. I think he was hinting at us. But to no avail. So we kinda celebrated, but not really actually. We went to 8881 restaurant at loyang. Their food used to be good, not till they changed their chef and their boss. Now their service sucks too. Can u imagine. We waited for 1 hour for our food to be served. How horrible. So we stoned an hour of our lives away. Coulda done something more productive. And the food was expensive! I think everything in Singapore has inflated in price. Nobody anticipates July '07.

Monday (18 June '07)

3 outings squeezed in one day. ONE DAY.

Morning:

4V outing at sentosa. Zoe, Cadence, Michelle, Tricia, Mary Anne, Gabriel, Shawb, Benny and I turned up. A disappointing outing with so few people. Lols. Cheryl came late and Bao Chuan couldnt come cause she was grounded. So there was the few of us, nothing to do at sentosa. Except zoe, cadence, mary anne and I swam a bit. The rest didn't want to get wet. The guys were playing soccer. Then Mary Anne suggested we go watch movie at vivo city. But I couldn't. Had to leave early. Cheryl came and cadence left. So the number of people remained the same.

Went for lunch at kopitiam. Inflated prices again! But so long as it filled my tummy I didnt really mind though. Thought we could at least chit-chat a bit at the place, but it seemed like there wasn't any common topic among the girls and the guys. We're not that close afterall, I guess. =X Ah. And so they went to watch Fantastic Four while Benny kepy calling me not to pang seh them! haha. I couldn't. Promises are meant to be made, then realised. =D

Afternoon:

Mini OG27 outing.

TCC at raffles place. YC thought I didn't know the way there. But I always knew I had a fairly good sense of direction. Haha. Reached there at around 3 when they met at 1 or so. Yu Chuan organised this thing. Was meant to celebrate his birthday but I forgot his to bring his present!Have to bring it next time then. No choice. Initially I thought it was only gonna be Ryanna, Mandy, YC and I. But royston and bennedic were there too. Didn't know how to react in the most appropriate way 'cause it was my first time meeting benedic and I always felt awkward when being around with yc's friends. We're not close to them anyway. Had a cheesecake which we all shared. (I hope to get the pics uploaded here somehow) The cheesecake there is really nice! Highly recommended by me! Hah.

They all brought something to study and revise and me, empty0-handed. YC lent me his notes to study, but it just doesnt seem the same as mj's. Mj's notes are more comprehensive and easily understood. That's one thing I like about their notes.

Anyway, straight to the point, we discussed about Jing Nan's sending off at the airport. It's gonna be so emotional! I'll miss her as a very good friend of mine. Someone I didn't know, nor did I ever contemplate to being good friends with. But we did. Haha. Hope to continue writing so long as the friendship stands =D and yea. Mandy was telling me about making cards and notes for her. Let's see what we can do about it though. =D

Evening/ Night:

207 Outing

Seeing that time was running out, I left TCC at around 6. Made it to simpang within minutes. Reached tanah merah at around 6.30 and walked to the street soccer court. Reached at 7. By then the sky was getting darker every second, and it was hard to see the ball in the weak light intensity. But we had fun.

First match was a thriller. We trailed behind by a single silly goal that we never should have conceded. Then Sze Jun struck with 2 nicely-capped goals. The second from the tightest of angles which he slotted the ball in. 2-1 the game ended.

Next up, against a very physical side who used all means to ensure victory. Push, nudge, elbow, slidding tackles all over the court. IT WAS SCARY YES IT WAS. Everyone in the team were unhappy with the way the opponent reacted to our dominance. We did dominate, actually, put were out-muscled to their inferior physique. I was even elbowed in the face. Eugene grew impatient, and the team subsequently gave up on the game. We had to rush for the bbq anyway.

Just a match to remember. I thought I did quite well as a centre back. =D

BBQ at rachels' house. I didn't cook actually, it was much up to clarice, si yi and yong jie. si yi should have went to enjoy herself with the others. But she didn't. So nice of her! Ha. Everyone did take their turn to cook, but I didn't. Guess that was why I didn't get much to eat either. I was left starving even after the fire was ceased.

Had a game of mahjong which I just stood around to watch. Actually what's the fascination over mahjong about? A hobby to pass time with? haha. Actually it's a very intelligent game, but it can be very time-consuming actually. Play cards? Out for me. I was too bored. Swim? I couldn't, having been pulled into the water at sentosa, my extra set of clothes were all drenched. I didn't have any spare. So all I did was to gaze at the stairs at the playground. What a night. Twinkling stars and the feeling was.. so soothing, so peaceful, so serene, so graceful.

Yong Jie, Sze Jun and Jian Yao had a small little chat. I think Jian Yao over-reacted a bit. But it was a nice conversation we had. I think he just needed to chill down though.

After the whole thing ended, Rachel sent us off near simpang. Really nice of her and a great host to have! =D eugene actually thought he was headed to the correct direction and joined jian yao and I at the bus stop with the bus headed to Tanah Merah MRT. Minutes later Eugene had a change of heart and decided to join the rest in the opposite direction. So it was just.. Jian Yao and I. YEA. So what? We had a non-chalant conversation with an array of topics to talk about. Actually I think he and I share quite a lot of similarities! It's nice to always find a friend who shares similar personalities as yourself.

EMO!

2 people talked to me that day. Both emo-ing when they should feel happy. I shan't leak, but to you two, things arent as bad as they seem. Go for it. Somethings don't happen by themselves. You gotta make it happen. So work towards it yea!

An unforgettable Monday. One that'll I'll probably never have. Busy, yet so many things to ponder over. I like this feeling.

Tuesday (19 June '07)

端午節. Chinese's traditional event of the year. And cultural too. I came across a few tv shows discussing about the history behind it, and finally got an overview of the whole story. China does have a history, no doubt. And till today we're still celebrating. For years and centuries.

Went Grandma's house in the morning. Couldn't really be bothered to be involved in the various conversations going on at he dining table. With them around, it's always about academics. Why be so bird-brain. It really doesn't mean, nor does it represent anything. Life isn't just about studies, as 婷婷姐姐talked about. Not like you needed a cert to breathe =D

2nd Aunt fetched us back home. and after that I just fm-ed all the way till at night, when my dad actually asked me out to watch movie with him?! Belated father's day it seems, but it's still better than nothing. Ocean 13 is indeed a nice show with thrilling and tricky scenes. The characters in the show are too brave, confident and smart. Someone any girl would fall for. Lol. But it was a nice movie and I wouln't mind watching it all over again. I'd rather view back the previous shows of ocean. They should be as nice, or even nicer than ocean 13. I simply like these kinda plots and stories. Hope to read or watch such stories next time.

Anyway, time is ticking away and it's only a matter of days before the exams start.. I'd better start studying just in case.

Shrek 3

Went to watch Shrek 3 today. Hazel organized the whole thing. Actually it kinda shocked me 'cause she mentioned so many names but, as it turned out, only the 6 of us went. Seng Yang, Mark, Hazel, Shirley, Abigail and I. Wanted to ask Zhen Ying, but apparently Hazel didn't ask. So forgetful of ya! And so, that is so much that has remained from the PAE class.

First off, to watch movie. And I was the latest. Oops. Eh I didn't know ok. Didn't know I'd oversleep. Supposed to meet at 2.45 and watch the 3.10 show. In the end I reached at 3.10 =X But yea, we still managed to get the 3.10 tickets which we still managed to watch from the beginning of the show.

The show was nice, with several comical parts and sometimes lame too. Many of which were anti-climax. That's what makes it nice isn't it. The plot wasn't exactly sensible, but all in all a great family show, contrary to what samuel tang said about all the shrek series. Haha. Maybe he's too mature for such shows.

After the show we went to eat at nydc. So expensive! Fancy the 6 of us sharing 3 personal pan pizzas. Craze? Maybe bah. $10 was all that I had left and I spent it all on.. PIZZAS!? I cannot be crazier than that though. Ha.

Following that, we were a lil more budget. Went HMV. View the latest hits, cds, albums. Shrek 3's soundtracks are nice too I'd say. Listened to the whole CD there. Ha. Then we watched Spiderman 2 which was being displayed there. Spent a reasonable amount of time there I think.

Walk walk for a while along orchard road. Sat down, chit chatted and attempted to rap 中國話. My braces is clearly in my way when I rap! Nvm la. Next week when go kbox can try again. In the meantime I'll try to memorize the lyrics.

Great to see y'all again. Let's hope we get more people to go for the outing next time. Thanks for organizing the outing though hazel!

《離開地球表面》!

五月天演唱會！

超難得的機會！多虧我表哥拿得到票，而且又是我們全家剛好，還包括我哥女友。（謝謝Ah Hong!) 原本還有多一張能邀Cheryl一起來看，因爲聼她說一直都很期待這場演唱會，特地留下一張票給她。但是打給她，又一直不接，結果就把票讓給Dao Zhe。雖然好像沒什麽聽説他是五月天的迷，但難得有機會能跟朋友一起見個面，我還是想算了吧，把票讓給他朋友好了.

演唱會8點開始，就好歹Cheryl在6.30終于回電。但已經太遲了；票已經讓給Dao Zhe了！可笑的是，她就一直盧我，叫我想辦法讓她去看。我就一直試説服我哥，但真得讓他很難做人。票都已經説好給別人了，那可以說要回就要回勒？君子一言，肆馬難追！真的是有夠令人不知所措。

最後，票始終沒取回，但我們卻想到一個很妙的辦法哦！哎呀還不是我的頭腦靈活，靈機一動，怎麽可能有辦法入場勒？還不謝謝我！哈哈！

一入場，看，哇靠！座位都滿滿的，雖然沒到爆滿的程度，但又就夠啦！人太多又會被擠得像沙丁魚，哪會過癮？

演唱會一開始，就先撥已先準備錄好的一支錄影片，内容其實我不太了解，因爲一直都在跟Cheryl聊天，根本就沒再專心欣賞。但後來他們五人上臺開始表演時，全場歡呼，氣氛馬上開始HIGH了起來！=D

五月天就這樣連續表演15，16首歌，完完全全沒休息到。

（但阿信一直忘詞，嗯奇怪，他怎麽沒唱‘忘詞’呢？）

到了半場休息時，他們才終于和粉絲聊起來，其中瑪莎第一句：'竟然在新加坡，那就用新加坡方式和大家說晚上好：“Good nai eberybodeee, two-nai berii spesho!”'

嗯嗯果然有新加坡人的口腔！

後來冠佑說了些感性的話，但阿信卻打消這氣氛:

冠佑：‘新加坡總是給我留下一個美好的影響。每次來到新加坡，就會想起新加坡的..’

阿信：‘海南雞飯..’

輪到阿信時，他卻沒說什麽，簡單的一句：

‘今晚讓我們踩破地盤，離開地球表面，離自己跟近！’

那句開始，相信沒有一個人不HIGH。全場轟轟烈烈的，真的很棒，很棒。

不想敍述的太多，只能說，這5個人的團體，是我從小時候就很崇拜的樂團，直到現在也依然不變。《為愛而生》這張專輯真的很讚，喜歡聼的人請秀出你的支持，買他們的專輯。我小時的偶像團體，你們的團結心真的令我很佩服，令我很羡慕，有時很嫉妒。

無論怎樣，五月天在我生命中改變了我對一些事情的看法。然而，我總覺得自己離那遙遠的天邊越來越遠，好像總是被地球的地吸引力困擾，幾年了，我還是原地踏步。這是我又翻一翻我以前的專機來聼。《我》就形容我現在的心情。或許吧。

不過現在的我還是照樣在一旁默默的支持你們，默默地向你們看起...

穿越空間，離開地球表面。

Finally! (1 June)

Finally. It was the day everyone was waiting for. After a long Long LOng LONg LONG term, and hell it was a tiring one, everyone finally can take a good rest. And we could celebrate ryanna's birthday! Yet, it wasn't to be the happiest. Jing Nan will be leaving for good, soon. But nice pen pal to have. She even gave us the kangaroo that I asked for! Haha. (but no crocs)


Ok, let me recall everything in sequence...

Morning:

We were supposed to meet at 10.30 at orchard, in the end everyone was late, and we met up at 11.10! Nvm about wasting the singing time though, 'cause the early bird package is from 11 to 2. Though we extended the time to 3. Had a great time! Woot. Except that today was rather cold. Er. Like. I don't know. Mandy and Jing Nan didn't sing! At least Ji Soo, who usually doesn't go for KTV sessions, sang the songs that she could sing! Haha. Ah. And the song 'Oh Mandy' was quite unexpected. Didn't know such a song existed! Hah.

Then the giving out of presents for ryanna's birthday. Quite unformal actually. No cakes, no birthday songs, just giving out the presents. What kind of organizer is the organizer anyway! Hah. I had previously asked Mandy what to get for Ryanna. She said 'anything will do', so I went to find anything, which I couldn't, so instead I got whatever. Hah. Imagined if i had only given her that. But nah. I gave her dolphins! My favourite creatures! They're friendly right!

Afternoon:

So, it was kbox till 3, and kumar and pat came to join us for lunch. We had lunch at some Japanese underground restaurant. The food did look tempting, so was the price! 0.o Sorry guys, I didn't eat not to remind y'all to pay up, but I really didn't want to spend so much =S Anyways after that Ryanna and Mandy went to Vivo City to get some things, which kept all of us in suspense. Hmmm..

But after that kumar suggested we go play pool. Actually I had no complaints, but he kept reminding us to just play if not waste money. I can understand, but it's just a game right. Why be so serious. Lols.

Ha. Yep. That was about it. Everyone went home after that. Ryanna, Mandy, Yu Chuan and I went to have dinner. Pat came to join us later cause she was waiting for her dad to fetch her.

But all in all, it was a nice outing and it was great to see everyone again! Let's hope we'll have more of such outings next time, although Jing Nan won't be with us again =X Anyways, all the best to you jing nan, and to Ryanna, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you enjoyed yourself. Really. =D
